WRITTEN ON A LONG PLANE RIDE FOR CLIENT WORK, NOVA IS A SHORT FILM BORN OUT OF A DESIRE TO TELL STORIES THAT SPEAK TO OUR PERSONAL PASSIONS AND THE IDEA THAT ANYONE CAN SHOOT FOR THE STARS. THIS FILM IS A COLLABORATION BETWEEN ONLY TODAY AND SPARK THE SERIES- WITH THE MISSION TO IGNITE IGAGINATION, CONFIDENCE, AND ACTION IN YOUNG WOMEN.
Nova is a story that encourages kids (and the kid in each of us) to embrace their curiosity and embark on adventures along the way.
Set in 1977 and 1994, Nova is a work of historical fiction about a girl who dreams of the cosmos and has an impactful encounter with renowned astronomer Dr. Sandra Faber.
